Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr Lawrence has been a medical doctor for over 9 years, completing her studies at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She has worked at the University Hospital of the West Indies, as well as other institutions in the South East Regional Health Authority.

The passionate Obstetrician and Gynecologist takes the welfare of all her women (and sometimes their partners) very seriously. Always promoting a healthy lifestyle, she manages the whole gauntlet of gynecological issues, from menstrual disorders, infertility, contraception, safe sexual practices and gynecological surgeries.

Her obstetric expertise includes complete antenatal care, obstetric ultrasonography, labour and delivery management and complete postnatal care.

Dr Lawrence also had the honour of representing her country as Miss Jamaica World in 2006 and went on to be a Miss World Public Vote Winner for that year. One of her proudest moments would be winning for her country the Miss World Caribbean Continental Queen of Beauty and placing 4th at the Miss World competition in 2006. Since then, Dr Lawrence has been a part of numerous outreach projects.

Mother, Professional, Mentor, ‘Autical’ Jamaican Girl, Dr Lawrence considers it her distinct privilege to journey with her patients as their bodies support a life and witness the miracle of childbirth, “which never gets old!!”
